Completion of the Project “Case Management Information System for the Judiciary in Kosovo”

Reception in Prishtina on the occasion of completion of the Project “Case Management Information System for the Judiciary in Kosovo”
Last night IMG organised a reception in Prishtina on the occasion of completion of the Project “Case Management Information System for the Judiciary in Kosovo”.
At the reception were present the Norwegian Ambassador to Kosovo and Albania, Jens Erik Grøndhal, the Minister of Justice of Kosovo Ms. Albulena Haxhiu, the Head of Judicial Council of Kosovo, the State Prosecutor, Judges, Prosecutors and other international partners.

The CMIS project started in December 2013 and completed in June 2022, almost 9 years with a total of aprox. 10 million Euro financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. IMG was selected as the implementing partner to carry out the financial and administrative management of the Project.
It has been a real challenge to implement this colossal and highly complex Project, where at the end we have a product, the CMIS, one the best judicial Systems in the region and I can for sure say among the bests in Europe. Today Kosovo has more transparent and more efficient judiciary and Kosovo institutions need to promote the CMIS regionally, and cooperate with the neighbouring countries. They need to use it, maintain it, invest in it to grow and become better.

All credits go to the two Councils, KJC and KPC for the extra hard work, the Project team, the IT staff, the BPU, the judges in the UWG, the members of the steering committee, and other partners.
A great thank you goes to the Norwegian Embassy, the Ambassador Grøndhal, he is the 3rd Norwegian Ambassador that directly follows the Project and each one of them have been highly dedicated and fully supporting the Project.
