Planning workshop of the Property Tax Reform Program

The first planning workshop of the "Property Tax Reform" program gathered around 100 people from local self-governments from all over Serbia. The main discussion topics were shortcomings and how to overcome them in the field of property tax, as well as methods and experiences in the field of good governance.
The program will last for next four years, and in that period we will provide municipalities with financial (such as remuneration for enumerators who will conduct the fieldwork) and technical support. Technical support includes various trainings, seminars as well as assistance in inter-municipal cooperation, involving citizens in decision making processes on how to spend money from property tax.

Prva planska radionica programa „Reforma poreza na imovinu“ okupila je blizu 100 ljudi iz lokalnih samouprava iz cele Srbije. Glavne teme razgovora bili su nedostaci i kako ih prevazici u oblasti poreza na imovinu, kao i metode i iskustva u oblasti dobrog upravljanja.
Program će trajati naredne četiri godine, i u tom periodu opštinama ćemo pružitati finansijsku (kao što su zarade popisivača koji će raditi na terenu) i tehničku podršku. Pod tehničkom podrškom spadaju razne obuke, seminari kao i pomoć u međuopštinskoj saradnji, uključivanju građana u odluke o trošenju novca od poreza na imovinu.
